Toddlers exploring and playing in a bright classroom

Toddlers

1–3 years • Daily, 3-Day, 4-Day, 5-Day • Year-round

Curious, confident, and cared for

Individualized placement • Whole-child development

Children are growing and adapting at rapid rates, so our staff stays flexible and assesses each child individually. Placement in a specific program is based on developmental assessments—not strictly by age. Ages listed are guidelines; promotion to the next program is at the discretion of Crossroads Daycare and not necessarily tied to a birthday.

In the toddler phase, children develop greater independence while still needing one-on-one affection and attention. We encourage little ones to explore and discover with guidance and encouragement from our team. Classrooms are equipped with age-appropriate toys, centers, and activities to keep every child engaged and delighted each day.

Key Policies

Designed for safety and consistency
Authorized Pickup

Children are released only to adults on your authorized pickup list. Please bring a photo ID at pickup; contact our office to update your list anytime.

Illness

For everyone’s health, please keep your child home if they are sick or showing symptoms per our guidelines. We’ll provide the full policy at enrollment.

Late Pickup

Our center closes at 6:00 PM. Late fees may apply after closing. If you’re running late, call us so we can support your child well.

Nap Time

There are daily naps or rest periods for all children enrolled in childcare.

  • We provide a napping cot and sheet for each child.
  • Families may send one small comfort item/blanket that fits in the child’s cubby; items go home weekly for cleaning.
  • Please note: a child who routinely sleeps in very late may not be ready to nap at the designated time and could disrupt others—ongoing disruptions may lead to disenrollment.
  • Changes in parent/guardian schedules do not alter the center’s daily nap/rest routine.
