Preschool
3 to 4 Years
Crossroads Preschool program exposes children to many different opportunities for creative, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual growth. Crossroads Preschool program is structured to be creative and nurturing. We’ll encourage the children to establish warm relationships with their teachers and begin the fun of making new friends. The Preschool curriculum follows the Indiana Early Learning Foundations set forth by the Indiana Department of Education. At the Preschool level, these learning foundations promote listening and speaking skills, as well as number recognition and relationships. Students in this program must be potty-trained and independent in the restroom.
Pre-K
4 to 5 Years
Child must be fully potty trained.
In the Crossroads Pre-K classes they learn to grow by taking on age appropriate responsibilities in exciting new ways! This age group begins to dive into new areas of learning such as computers, sports, and large motor skills. Each day is full of intentional and stimulating learning from our skilled preschool teachers. Your child will be challenged to develop and cultivate skills in self-confidence and relationships with others. Our preschool team is dedicated to caring for your child every step of the way!
Nap Time
There will be daily naps or rest periods for all the children enrolled in childcare. A parent/guardian may provide a small blanket or similar item to stay at daycare for their child to nap with. A napping cot and sheet will be provided for each child. The child-owned napping items must be taken home weekly for cleaning. We ask that a child not bring more than one item to sleep with and all items for napping must fit in the child’s cubby. Parents please be mindful of a child that is allowed to sleep in too late may not be ready to nap at the designated time and therefore, may create a disturbance for others. This can be grounds for termination if it is deemed to be on-going. A change in the parent/guardian’s schedule does not change a child’s routine and schedule at preschool.
